Taylor Swift and Gracie Abrams They had an interesting time co-writing their latest song, “Us,” which is made clear in a new video shared by Gracie, 24. InstagramOne of the two clips sees both artists working on lyrics and music for the new song, while the other shows a hilarious moment when Taylor, 34, struggles to use a fire extinguisher.
“Writing this entire song from 2am to 6am was some of the most fun I’ve ever had in my life,” Gracie captioned the carousel post on Friday, June 21. “@taylorswift now I know how to use a fire extinguisher. I love you.”
The hilarious video shows Taylor in her kitchen, trying to figure out how to best put out a small fire on the table in the middle of the room.
“Wait, what do I do about that?” the “Karma” singer asks in the video. “I mean, cut this with a knife? I think we’re gonna die.”
A frustrated Taylor can be heard muttering the word “bitch” as she struggles to push the handle, but she manages to put out the fire – apparently damaging a handbag that was on the table – but Taylor and Gracie seemed to have a good laugh about the moment.
“Our purses were ruined. Our shoes were ruined. I think the whole room was ruined,” Taylor says, smiling at the end of the video.
Although the night nearly ended with a fire, Taylor and Gracie were able to perform a new song from Gracie’s second album. Our SecretThe duet has a low, dark tone to it, with the pair singing in the chorus, “Do you miss us? / I felt it, you held it, do you miss us? / Do you regret our secrets?”
