America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders has captivated fans with its look at the rigors of becoming a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, but one scene in particular divided viewers, depicting the women supporting each other not just with words but with actions.
In America’s Sweetheart episode, Victoria Karina And her mother, Tina Karinahosted a lavishly decorated birthday party at her Dallas home, but the other members of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (DCC) didn’t show up, leaving her to celebrate alone with her mother, leaving viewers curious as to whether they had intentionally ignored the invitation.
“That morning, we performed, [Netflix] “They were like, ‘Hey, can I come on set? Can I come and celebrate with you?’ And I was like, ‘Yes,'” Victoria, 24, recalled on the show on Monday, July 8. Arrives in 5 minutes “I started a podcast, spreading the word and saying, ‘Netflix is coming. There’s cake.’ [and] “The more, the merrier.” But I think it didn’t catch on very quickly.”

When asked if the incident bothered her, Victoria replied, “No, because I felt like everything I said was ignored.” She said that the DCC team often “didn’t take it to heart,” noting that the team regularly met to plan and celebrate other cheerleaders’ birthdays.
The podcast host offers some reassurance by saying, “You deserve the same praise from your true friends.”
However, other DCC members have now spoken out with a different perspective on the birthday incident.
via Tick tock Cheerleaders commenting on clips from podcast episodes Jessica Bowman “When I had the chance I would have loved to have been there to celebrate Victoria. I pray she understands how much her team supports her ❤️,” he wrote.
Former DCC teammate Mackenzie Sherman, Kelsey Wetterbergand Evgenia Zhenya Kolpakova All agreed with Jessica in her TikTok message: According to them, Karina has never invited them to her birthday celebrations.
“Birthdays are a big deal here, so if I had known I would have attended! I decorated her locker as per DCC tradition, but I wish I would have had the chance to attend her party,” Wetterberg wrote.
“We would have absolutely cheered for her,” Sherman said. Kolpakova added, “We’re heartbroken that this has happened. We want you to know that we support you, we love you, and we would never miss your birthday.”
