Let’s talk tennis clothing. Maybe it’s the rise of retro sports gear or the new movie The Challengers. Or maybe it’s the arrival of pickleball. Either way, it’s clear that the tennis look is back. Since I love styling posts (like the best jean shorts and sneakers to wear with a dress), today I’m going to talk about how to style tennis clothing. I’ll mention my favorite activewear brands and share some tennis skirt outfit ideas for both on and off the court.

When it comes to coordinating tennis skirts, I’m always on the lookout for pieces that are both functional and fashionable. I love finding pieces that I can wear on the court as well as on the weekend. Now that I’ve shared some of my current favorite brands, it’s time to talk about how to wear a tennis skirt. Of course, a white tennis skirt paired with a white top is a classic look, but these days there are so many other fun options. Colorful skirts, layered sweaters, unexpected shoes…I love to experiment. Here are some ways I’m embracing the “tennis girl aesthetic” on and off the court.

I call this category “faux sporty.” The athleisure look is perfect for when you’re not actually going to play in a game, but still want to look a little sporty.
