When putting together this list of plus and LGBTQ owned brands, I did my best to gather resources by pulling from brands I personally know and love, and by soliciting posts via social media. .
That being said, we are aware that there are brands that are not on this list. And it can be a shame that you can’t open a list like this to see for yourself. Been there! Therefore, please “self-recommend” by yourself and comment below if it fits. We would like to include all members of the community in the list.

Chouette Designs is owned by LGBTQ+ couple Ashley Katherine and Marlene Schmidt. They manufacture both ethical engagement rings and ready-to-wear demi-fine jewelry.
Size: The brand accommodates ring sizes up to 15.
Secondhand Stare is a plus-size resale shop owned by LGBTQ+ travel blogger and fashion guru Alysse Dalessandro (@ReadyToStare).
Size: 0X – 7X (There is also a straight size!)
CTOAN CO is a candle and home decor brand founded by Jodian Morgan, a queer black woman from Wisconsin. The brand makes the iconic body positive her candles and recently launched some pretty cool planters as well.
Curve Conscious is a plus size resale brand based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. LGBTQ+ Business Founded by his owner Adrian Ray, this is a pretty groundbreaking resale brand.
Nature’s Twist is based in Seattle, WA (visiting their store in Pike’s Place is on my list for this year!). This brand makes very innovative jewelry using natural stones.
Cat Polivoda is the founder and owner of Cake Plus-Size Resale. This shop is based in Minneapolis but offers a strong online offering.
Additionally, BKLYN is owned by LGBTQ+ business owner Alexis Krase. Based in New York City, the brand
Chaya Milchtein is an educator and author who covers a wide variety of topics in her work. At Mechanic Shop Femme, Chaya hosts classes for her LGBTQ+ people and women on a variety of topics related to buying and caring for a car.
Bertha Pearl makes some pretty cool custom plus size and super size clothes.
