Marvel’s smallest hero is back on the big screen. Marvel Cinematic Universein theaters Feb.
Quantumania is Paul Rudd’s resized hero Scott Lang’s third solo outing, following 2015’s Ant-Man and 2018’s Ant-Man and the Wasp. This is his 31st MCU film overall, but more importantly, the MCU’s first installment. Phase 5 — This means that this new flick will introduce some major new villains and pave the way for some big changes to the Marvel movie series.

When will Ant-Man be released?
Ant-Man 3 hits theaters Friday, February 17th.
Quantumania will be the first blockbuster to hit theaters, following the blockbuster Avatar: The Way of Water, which premiered in December and performed well at the worldwide box office.
What is the cast of Ant-Man 3?
Returning director Peyton Reed once again cast Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne, and Michelle Pfeiffer and Michael Douglas as the parents.
David Dastmalchian will also return, though he may be playing a different character than in the first two Ant films. Lang’s daughter Cathy is played by Kathryn Newton, star of Big Little Lies, Freaky, Pokémon Detective Pikachu, and Three Billboards in suburban Ebbing, Missouri.

what is the plot?
After rescuing Janet Van Dyne from the Quantum Realm in the previous Ant-Man and the Wasp movies, the Ant Gang returns to a tiny little universe. Accompanied by Kathy this time, Scott tries to make up for lost time with his troubled teenage daughter. According to the trailer, he makes a deal with the evil Khan – which, of course, goes terribly wrong.
who’s the bad guy?
Jonathan Majors may have already appeared as Kang, but this is another version of the character. Kang, whom he met in Loki, was a being called the He-Who-Remains, who prevented the universe from splitting into infinite parallel timelines, aka the Multiverse. Loki’s intervention brought these parallel universes back to life, and we saw the results in the mad multiverse Doctor Strange.
The new film also includes the first MCU appearance of MODOK, a comic book character named Mental Organism designed specifically for killing. A sort of cyborg brain, he had previously appeared in the Hulu comedy animated series voiced by Patton Oswalt and in 2020’s Avengers his game. In Quantumania, MODOK is played by Corey Stoll, who played the villain Yellowjacket in the first Ant-Man movie.
It’s not clear how MODOK or Kang ended up in the quantum realm, but it looks like this is just the beginning of a new big evil in the MCU. First seen in 1963’s Marvel Comics Fantastic Four #19, created by Kirby. Seen in a comic named The Conqueror. You will see.

The first trailer, released in October, opens with the more familiar Ant-Man comedic tone.
A second trailer, released in January, was a darker affair, emphasizing drama and adventure.
When is it coming to Disney Plus?
It’s too early to tell. Quantumania is now streaming disney plus Ultimately, the home release date was Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (Blu-ray, DVD, Streaming Feb 1) Thanks to Disney, I can’t wait to see the new Marvel movie at home compared to the early days of the pandemic.
