Jersey music royalty visited the Jersey Frieze.
Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi visited the landmark Freehold Township’s Jersey Frieze They climbed into Springsteen’s sports car and ordered two cones: Sprinkles for Bon Jovi and Chocolate Dip for Springsteen.
The two stayed for about 10 minutes and posed for photos with Jersey Freeze owners Matt Cangialosi and Katie DiNonno.
Springsteen is a regular at the Jersey Freeze and has been visiting there with his family since he was a kid.

“This was the first photo of me and Matt together[with Springsteen]and when he comes, we usually don’t mind him,” DiNonno said. “But today it was both – I can’t help it. I’m taking pictures. It was fun.”
Boss asked a fan who was a fan of the Jersey Freeze at a concert at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford in August 2016.
“Who’s been to the Jersey Freeze?” Springsteen asked. “We stopped there, but it was much smaller. There were no hot dogs or hamburgers. When I was a kid, I didn’t like chocolate or vanilla, I just liked corn. I did.”
Carlton Blackmore, the original owner of the Jersey Freeze, died in 2016 at the age of 99. Kanjaroji and Dinonno keep the tradition alive.
