Ferragamo in new hands. Newly appointed creative director Maximilian Davis has set out with his debut collection, his Spring 2023. At just 27 years old, Davis introduced a whole new class of tastemakers, influencers and fashion figures to the world of Ferragamo.
Davis’ take on Ferragamo offers a fresh perspective on the brand’s signature. He conceptualized the look of Ferragamo with a beachfront palette inspired by sunrise and sunset, this dreamy color his story illuminates easy and sensual ready-to-wear.
To celebrate his big debut, Ferragamo threw a preview party at its New York flagship store, with an invited list of fashion luminaries including Claire Sulmers, Richie Shazam and Vanessa Hong. Guests got an up-close look at Davis’ interpretation of the Maison through non-traditional tailoring, asymmetrical eveningwear, oozing printed fabrics and his spin on the archives. Wanda handbag.
Drinks flowed and Ferragamo-clad feet danced to the beat of Angel + Den. It’s clear that Davis’ vision brings something exciting to the nearly 100-year-old brand. Swipe through the gallery to see more images from the lush event, as well as Claire’s perfect fit.
