Lucas Adams and Shelby Woolfert are Married!
of days of our lives “I do,” the actor said to actress Shelby Wolfert at the Chateau Hiddenwood Estate in Waxahachie, Texas, on Oct. 15.
“This is the beginning of starting to build our family together and showing what that means to us,” Wolfert told PEOPLE. “We want children in a few years.” So start preparing for the next chapter of parenthood and the next chapter of the rest of our lives.”
Adams, 29, and Woolfert, 28, first met when they co-starred on Disney Channel in 2016. Liv & Maddie And get engaged in 2021.
“We were friends at first,” recalls Wolfert. “And after a while, Lucas became very sweet. He said, ‘I have to tell you I’m in love with you.'” It is!” ”
Urfurt walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of “La Vie En Rose” and joined Adams on a picturesque deck above the pond, where they exchanged vows in front of 40 of their closest friends and family.
The bride wore a BHLDN Jenny You crepe satin dress at Anthropologie in Los Angeles. “Very beautiful,” she says. “It’s like calla flowers come to life and become her vintage Hollywood starlet. It was the first dress I tried on.”
After the ceremony, officiated by a close friend of the couple, guests dine al fresco with meatballs and lasagna, “a good old-fashioned pasta feast,” Wolfert says.
The cake was a two-tiered white buttercream decorated with greens and flowers to match the green color scheme.
“There are a lot of really cute vintage touches that mean a lot to us,” she says. “Our cake topper is from our grandparents’ wedding in 1951.”
“We’re planning a mini-moon in Dallas,” Adams says of honeymoon planning. “So we can go and hang out and relax for a few days. We’ll be staying at the Rosewood Mansion. In fact, we’re really excited.”
Now with their marriage partners, Wolfert says there’s one perk she’s particularly looking forward to.
“I’m really excited to come up with so many nicknames for his husband,” she says. As you know, the options are endless.”
