Bollywood isn’t really known for pulling off suspense thrillers. But like 2015’s Drishyam, Drishyam 2 will soothe you with its understated setting, simple characters, human cop, and family caught in events beyond its control. What matters is what you see.
and what the world sees Vijay Salgaonkar (Ajay Devgn)? Either he’s a family man, he runs a local cable service, he’s a father of two who loves movies, or he’s just a “chauthi (class 4) failer”, or it doesn’t matter, he’s an illiterate man. . Drisham 2 Both fierce parents, these two protagonists pick up very deftly where they left off in Drisham. The story is by Jeetu Joseph who directed both the Malayalam versions. Bollywood of Drisham, who directed his remake of Nishkanth His Kamat’s death resulted in the reins of Drisham 2 being taken over by Abhishek Pathak.
Nearly all the characters from the first film reappear, and the sequel is enriched by it. They mainly show the impact of the last seven years. and Deshmukh, who lives with the knowledge that the former killed their only son, the capricious Sam, and fled.Surya is the only one that stands out Sarangwho plays Vijay’s wife with the same perfect hair and cropped saree, eyes unshaded, but for Kajal – despite the sleepless nights haunted by the murder she speaks of. .
Words spilling out here and there Uncontrollable tension Unstoppable mutterings in the city Suspicion dragging Sargonkar and the others Witnesses who connected them from that fateful night to Sam’s corpse, who was missing last time.
So, as clues point irrevocably towards his family, what will Vijay do now, who keeps repeating that he could do anything for his family?
The plan turns out to be as elaborate and as unexpected as it was at Drisham. However, its enforcement has not been so smooth, requiring incredible breaches of basic protocol by the police, and not only a competent judge dismissing the case, but a series of very serious crimes around Vijay. It leads to gullible people. The surprising change in his fortune only adds to the hint of notoriety about him.
Perhaps the weakest link is Akshaye Khanna as Tarun, the new IG. Taboo brought moral authority, steely fortitude, and a heightened sense of helplessness to Drisham as a stern police chief who was also a desperate mother, but Khanna was all about snarky lines, glowing eyes, and exaggerated. Tarun is built as this genius cop who thinks long and hard on the chessboard for the company, but an unexpected stroke of luck turns him into a real man. We are just getting closer to solving the case.
Taboo and Kapoor return as their grieving parents as their businessman husband Mahesh Deshmukh. Their roles are limited, but whenever she’s there, watching, waiting, grimacing at her, and having the pain of a tired facial line, the tabs are again in this position. I own a movie.
Policeman Meera didn’t see what was in front of her. But as even Vijay admits, when it comes to her mother, her Meera, it’s hard to make eye contact with her.
