Veteran actress and patriarch of a Hollywood family that included actor Sean Penn, Irene Ryan, died at her home on Sunday. A statement shared by a Penn spokesperson. She was 94 years old.
Ryan turned 95 on October 16th. She has not provided any details regarding her cause of death.
Ryan has appeared in over 60 TV shows and movies, including 2002’s ‘Eight Legged Freaks’ and 2005’s ‘Feast’, and has appeared in the critically acclaimed films ‘Magnolia’ in 1999 and ‘I Am Sam’ in 2001. .”

Born Eileen Annucci, Ryan met her husband, the late director Leo Penn, at a rehearsal for “Iceman Comes” in New York City in 1957, according to a statement.
The two moved in together within a week of meeting and were married a few months later, the statement added.
