Princess Kate Middleton New reports say she won’t be returning to the spotlight until fall 2024 to focus on recovering from her battle with cancer. “No one wants to pressure her to do that,” she said. This means that in practice, any big decisions such as appointing new staff can wait.”
Prince Charles made his diagnosis public in March, explaining that doctors found the disease in his body after successful abdominal surgery in January 2024. Kate has been focusing on her health since then. “This has of course been a huge shock, and Prince William and I have been doing all we can to take and deal with this privately for the sake of our young family,” Kate said. “I hope that you will understand that as a family we need some time, space and privacy until I have completed my treatment. … Work has always brought me deep joy and I hope to be able to return to work, but for now I must focus on making a full recovery,” Kate said.
