of Miel Organic “Beautycon” booth The 30th Essence Cultural Festival In New Orleans, hair enthusiasts areMielvers There was great inspiration and innovation there.
Founder Monique Rodriguez This isn’t her first time at Essence Fest, and she’s back this year with an even bigger and more amazing pop-up shop.
From customized beauty insights to celebrities endorsing their favorite beauty products Miel Organic For the products, there were a number of experiential activations.
Over the weekend, the RN-turned-CEO showed off her best fashion looks, as she always does, from a black and white polka dot mini dress by Dolce & Gabbana to a fuchsia pink lace runway look by Bronx & Banco.
Rapper and songwriter Lady London was also in attendance. Fashion Bomb Correspondent Sheikh I had the opportunity to interview her about her outfit.
The New York native said:I’m wearing a choker from Dsquared. Dsquared is one of my favorites. The top is by Kwame Adusei, an African designer from LA. And of course [my shoes] This is Rene Caovilla.“
In contrast to Lady London’s black and white outfit, singer Letoya Luckett looked dazzling in a multi-coloured Cynthia Rowley dress and clear yellow pumps.
Similar to Luckett’s aesthetic, our very own fashion bomb CEO also attended Mielle’s pop-up shop, choosing a nude sequin Staud dress and showing off her trademark finger wave while jamming with Luckett, Lance Gross, and many more artists.
