Let’s talk NXT!
fight club
It’s strange to see Pete Dunne return to NXT as Butch. NXT relies heavily on continuity, which is even stranger because it doesn’t pretend audiences have goldfish memories. But here we are.with Ridge Holland group Butch returned to NXT as a challenger for Pretty Deadly’s NXT Tag Team Championship.
In typical Brawling Brutes fashion, it was a banger. This is great for them and their opponents on any given night. Butch and Ridge didn’t win this match, but they looked incredibly strong extreme rules Match with Imperium. They ruled from the opening bell. Butch had both members of PD broken down like fractions, while Ridge made everyone muscular.
They’re neither the strongest tag team nor the fastest, so that’s fine for Pretty Deadly. They are heels who take advantage of the situation and somehow always put the odds in their favor.
At that point, the storytelling here was pretty good. The more Pretty Deadly struggled, the more they tried to disqualify. They tried to knock out the referee! They tried to find themselves doing the most ridiculous thing that might have caused the referee to ring the bell, but the referee either didn’t notice or moved out of the way. This he showed how desperate the two are to retain their titles and how much he underestimates Butch and Holland.
If Imperium doesn’t interfere, we’ll have a new NXT Tag Champion. But they did. And that quick instance distracted Bluto long enough for Pretty Deadly to take advantage of it with a small amount of spilled milk.
Their focus was all on Imperium at that point, so the four men were out in the ring while Pretty Deadly met new challengers in Briggs & Jensen and Edris Enoff & Malik Blade. We had a fight. I love that Enophe and Blade are finally doing something tangible. I also love how Briggs and Jensen stay in the title picture. I missed Fallon Henry by my side, but I get it. This is not her fight.
It was Dope’s main event that established both teams. extreme rules, set Pretty Deadly on the road to new obstacles. Solid reservation. Sometimes keeping it simple is really the right move.

back to valid
Carmelo Hayes needed this W against Oro Mensa. A-Champ, despite what he said, was on a pretty losing streak. And it came at the worst possible time as he was competing for the North American Championship in a ladder match. halloween havokMensa had a smooth match against Hayes, minus one nearly unsuccessful top rope maneuver. At this point, I can’t say Hayes is solid, but it wasn’t one of his standouts.
As for the storyline, Trick Williams stepped in and took another bullet for Melo, once again showing his worth and setting the stage for what he would or wouldn’t do during the next ladder match. did.
A new challenger is here!
Zoe Stark and Nikita Lyons. She’s two women who just want to prove they’re a real tag team. We want to show that we are a great team, not just a real tag team. Toxic Attraction wants to reclaim the title. Gigi Dolin and Jaycee Jayne would only torture anyone who tried to sniff out what they believed was their gold.
And for a moment it looked like they were on the verge of becoming the number one contender again, Toxic Attraction is a great team. This her two women know each other very well and it’s always part of the storytelling. As such, when fighting an inexperienced team, they usually win. They play their game while the other team doesn’t even know the name of the game they’re playing. But like I said, it worked for the most part this week.
Zoey and Nikkita are up against Katana Chance and Kayden Carter for the title. Above all, the team is physically strong. Zoe and Nikki eventually overwhelmed their opponents while using Zoe’s experience in tag team wrestling.
I prefer the Face team to the Heel team in the championship, but this looks like an easy way to win gold with Nikki. I really think they should be with Chance. bring it on.
that’s what happened
I like the Apollo Crew. I love Grayson Waller. I don’t like what they are doing in this feud now.The fact that it was the last image of a segment that was mostly about Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez halloween havok Matching is even more annoying. Cora and Roxanne guest starred in her Grayson Waller Effect, always keeping each other apart and doing a great job showing how much they hate each other.
That hatred took on another level during their pull-away brawl. Weapon match these two he’s perfect for.
But back to Waller and Crewe. Apollo showed up disguised as NXT security, dragged Waller under the ring and smeared red food dye around his eyes to make them look like they were bleeding. The vision was brilliant enough to see Apollo walking towards him and retreated in the straightest straight line to reach the locker room. please.
he?
You see it, NXT. I put von Wagner against Andre Chase to make me care about von Wagner’s game. you are not smooth But it worked. Chase did his best to make Wagner a monster. But I still didn’t buy it. And I think the wrong person won. Chase is really over and he should be in a great position, especially after pinning Hayes. Wagner says he is a fetch and keeps trying to make it happen.
legend milk
Wendy Chu defeated Rush Legend. Eyelashes are better and Wendy is Wendy. This wasn’t a match to speak of, but it served its purpose.
I blinked and missed
Brutus Creed got hurt because of Damon Kemp. Duke Hudson rubbed salt into the diamond mine wound. Julius said “No, bravo” and challenged Duke to a match. The match was shorter than it took me to write those sentences. Phew, poor duke. He should return the card to his table.
The only news from the segment is Julius and Kemp halloween havok Now it’s an ambulance game. If Julius loses, Brutus will be out of NXT. Julius had a line of the night: “If you call me, I will answer at the first ring.”
Very dope, sir.
Now the Joy, in My World…
Folks, Theon Quinn has won! Yes, it was against Hank Walker. Football player turned security guard turned wrestler, but a good turn deserves another turn. That being said, however, Quinn’s victory in the Okay match was set purely for his feud with Quincy Elliott, Hank’s new friend and someone Shion dislikes. It means that Xyon won the battle, but it’s more likely that they’ll need several L’s in the war. Quincy and Hank’s friendship is his one of the funniest things here.
Minus a few matches, this was a solid outing for the black and yellow brand. halloween havok, and Alba Fire kidnapped Mandy Rose. People really need to stay away from that parking lot. Especially when the person with the bat is just walking around freely.
Grade: B.
That’s my grade and I’m sticking with it. your turn.
