Reality TV stars Todd and Julie Chrisley last month declared According to US Marshals Service documents recently filed in court, he is in jail for fraud and tax crimes.
The couple were ordered to appear in two different federal prisons on January 17, according to the documents.
Todd and Julie Chrisley, best known for their reality series Chrisley Knows Best, were convicted in June of conspiring to defraud banks out of fraudulent loans worth more than $30 million. Additionally, they were convicted of several tax crimes, including an attempt to defraud the Internal Revenue Service.
Sentenced to 12 years in prison and three years of supervised release, Todd Chrisley was assigned to work at FPC Pensacola, a minimal security facility in Pensacola, Florida.
His wife Julie Chrisley was sentenced to seven years in prison and three years of supervised release. She was assigned to her FCI Marianna SCP, according to the prison website. This is a “Medium Security Federal Correctional Facility Adjacent to Minimal Security Satellite Camps” in Marianna, Florida.
The prisons are about a two-hour drive from each other in the Florida Panhandle.
“Chrisley Knows Best” debuted on USA Network in 2014. New episodes filmed before the trial are set to debut sometime next year.
