Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey became a viral sensation because it turned Winnie the Pooh and Piglet into sadistic killing machines. IGN is now ready to reveal four exclusive new images of him from the upcoming horror film.
The four images can be viewed in the slideshow below, revealing a young Christopher Robin and several shots of Pooh, including one of him against a blazing background holding a knife. Coming from And Honey’s latest shoot, director Rhys Flake-Waterfield feels it contains some of the best footage from a movie to date.
Pooh is now a bloodthirsty killer, but the stupid old bear still remembers his days with Christopher Robin. It’s a twisted version of Toy Story 3, where Pooh and Piglet go wild in the Hundred Acre Wood after Christopher Robin goes to college. The slideshow images above show Pooh still flashing back to his days with his old friend.
First released in May, Winnie the Pooh: Bloody & Honey garnered attention as a formidable adaptation of the classic children’s book that recently entered the public domain. Frake-Waterfield has since stated that he is already planning a sequel to ‘Blood and Honey’ as well as his version of Peter Pan horror titled ‘Neverland Nightmare’.
Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey is currently in theaters across the US, UK, Canada and Mexico, courtesy of Fathom Events. On sale February 15th.
