Patricia Arquette isn’t against going under the knife to stay youthful, as the pressure to look a certain way is very real in Hollywood.
“This is my own face and if I decide to get a facelift tomorrow, I’m going to do it,” the “Medium” alum, 54, told EXCLUSIVELY at the Gotham Awards Gala earlier this week. told Page Six.
“Everybody can do what they want with their face…but I understand why people feel that pressure.”
Arquette added that there is “real pressure to look a certain way” in Hollywood.
“[The look is] It’s a kind of eternal ingenuity that you don’t see very often in humanity,” said the “Severance” star.
Arquette explained how the pressure can be overcome.
“At the end of the day, you have your relationship with Hollywood and with Hollywood as an actor. And then there is your relationship with yourself and the world around you,” said the “Other” star.
“What adventures would you like to have in this life? I am very happy where I am.”
Arquette has been acting for decades, appearing in movies like ‘True Romance’ and ‘Flirting With Disaster’.
Within the past few years, she has been recognized for her work, including winning an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for ‘Boyhood’ and Emmy Awards for her respective roles in ‘The Act’ and ‘Escape at Dannemora’. .
