The battle for the brightest stars of America’s Got Talent: All-Stars is heating up.
The top acts from the international “Got Talent” franchise continue to have their sights set on the finals in NBC’s Super Contest (Monday, 8 EST/PST). Of the show’s judges, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel, Cowell was the only one with the ability to ring the golden buzzer on Monday, securing a place for her act in the final. (The second spot in the final was determined by a voting panel of “superfans”, with eight other hopefuls once again facing elimination.)

Cowell surprises himself with Golden Buzzer selection
Mike E. Winfield, the season 17 comic of “AGT,” is back to crack down on the judges. He joked about his stepson, whom he calls “Stepman” because of his similar age, and stayed out late into the night. “I turned the corner to pick him up[from the party]and came home three hours later,” Winfield said. said his wife. I said, “I have some of the same friends. They were all there. He’s still there. I’ll pick him up again.”
“You are the sunshine and I love you,” raved Klum. “You’re hilarious.”
Cowell said that if Winfield had performed an evening routine earlier, “it could have been a completely different story.”
“It means everything,” said Winfield. “This is what I’ve always wanted. I wanted ‘AGT.'” He’s been doing this for 20 years, and he’s gone unnoticed and finally got the platform. No time to take off or brake.I’m here to play.
Noticing the audience’s enthusiasm for the standup, Cowell gave him the Golden Buzzer. “Mike, do you know? I love, love, love the people who compete,” Cowell said.

Saxophonist Avery Dixon hits all the right notes
Saxophonist Avery Dixon, a Season 17 contestant on “AGT” who won the Golden Buzzer from then-host Terry Crews, returned Monday.
Bullied for his voice and picked up the saxophone, the young musician said he was in competition for his mother.
Dixon gave himself a fighting chance when he and his band performed a vibrant rendition of Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” and brought a dancing Klum to her feet.
“That’s how you do it!” she said with a smile.
Mandel praised Dixon’s evolution. “You went from a great talent to a great show. You are the show!”
Bir Khalsa is an almost unseen act for Cowell
The risky stunt-performing group, Bir Khalsa, who first appeared in season 14, showed they were “all-star” ready with a gruesome act that Cowell found difficult to watch.
A blindfolded member of a group of four chopped a coconut hanging around another member’s neck with a sword. “I can’t stand it!” said the worried crew member.
For another trick, the blindfolded members would crush coconuts and watermelons and outline their collaborators’ bodies with sledgehammers. “I can’t see,” Mandel said nervously, putting his hands on his head.

As the sledgehammer came close to hitting the watermelon with the group member’s head, Cowell covered his eyes. I was.
For the group’s final feat, the blindfolded man sliced an apple between the heads of two partners with a chainsaw.
“This is the craziest thing I’ve seen,” Mandel said.
“Ever!” Klum agreed. “It was hard to watch! You guys are so crazy. It was amazing. It was so much fun. It was so good. I couldn’t take my eyes off it.”
Cowell said the group would vote for the finals.
Who did the super fans choose?
The crew expanded on the suspense of panel selection and revealed the top three of the finals. (Note that you can only select one act to progress through.)
As much as Bir Khalsa impressed the judges, the group was nowhere to be seen. The crew revealed Dixon. Singer Keren Montero, who won ‘Dominicana’s Got Talent’ in 2021. And Mind his leader Peter Antonio, who appeared on season 16 of “AGT,” topped the panel, though Cowell said he lacked showmanship.
But it was Dixon who the fan vote pushed him into the next round.
