John Legend Police say his Porsche was nearly stolen. Police say a man jumped into a luxury sports car while the singer was in a recording studio and was arrested.
LAPD tells TMZ…on Monday afternoon, as John’s Porsche was parked outside a recording studio in Los Angeles, a man approached the car, opened the door and jumped in. A key or another way to start the car.
A security guard at the recording studio allegedly saw everything down on surveillance cameras and called the police before heading out to confront him. They asked what he was doing and the man claimed it was his Porsche.
When the police spotted the man, he started running. After a short foot chase, officers took him into custody.
The suspect was put in jail and booked for a felony – Grand Theft Auto attempt. He is being held on $85,000 bail.
